- We started talking about Peru. We watched a video of kids exploring Machu Picchu! Then we had the opportunity to write down all of our knowledge of Peru on sticky-notes and post them on our Peru board! (JH)
- In Music we read a book about sound waves and how they are made! (SM)
- In Science there were two jars and we had to do a "I see, I think, I wonder" page on one of the two jars! (QM)
- Today we did Morning Journal. Our task was to describe a goal that we have for this school year, and then we had to explain how we are going to achieve that goal. (ER)
- In Math we talked about the terms least and greatest. We also talked about ordering numbers using those two terms! (DR)

Today we have field study forms coming home! Please return them as soon as possible! As well, if your child has not returned their TWAS journal already please remind them to place it in their backpacks for tomorrow! We still need one more volunteer for our trip! Please email me if you are available!

Field Studies We are very excited for our field study on Wednesday! We now have enough volunteers for that field study! As we have so many field studies coming up forms will becoming out every week. It would greatly help me to have the forms returned as soon as possible so that I can keep on top of them! Studio Bell forms are coming home today. Please return them by Friday. Thank you to all of the parents who offered to volunteer for this trip! We have more than enough! We are still looking for volunteers for March 10th, and April 1st. In order to be able to take part in these activities we need to have at least 4 more volunteers for both dates. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to join us! Writing The students in room 8 are hard at work learning what verbs and adjectives are. They are using them to write more descriptive sentences that draw the reader in! June 22nd - 26th Learning Plans

Good afternoon Grade 3 Families,   This is a very sad week for us as this will be the last week where we see all of your wonderful faces on the google meet ups,  we will be reading t he last Friday letter you wrote to us and of course  watching  the  talent show to share your passions.  All the grade three teachers are sad to see the year come to an end.  On that note, we will be changing the time of the meet up this coming Friday. Instead of meeting at 1pm, we will be meeting at 9am. This will allow for siblings to watch the grade 4 celebration and be done b efore noon.
