- We learned a new Math game! It was called "What's Under my Thumb?" It was a lot of fun! Let me teach it to you. (QM)
- Our Morning Journal today was to write about our favourite movie! (JH)
- TWAS is coming home! You must read it and sign it and send it back on Monday! (GH)
- We had Phys. Ed with room 7 today! We played Bench Ball! It was great! (SM)

There is no school tomorrow! Please make sure that you are on time for your Parent Teacher Conference time!

Yesterday, our principal let you know that the Calgary Board of Education’s was activating Google Meet and Google Classroom to enable teachers and students to better connect with each other. This email outlines what to expect as we begin setting up times to connect with our students over the coming days. Accessing Google Classroom for the First Time Starting on Monday, April 6, we will be using Google Classroom as a learning platform as we continue ongoing learning from home. What a busy week we have had in room 8! The students have been working hard on their event centre plans, and are getting very excited for our trip to the Saddledome on the 25th! Today we worked on our TWAS writing, and the students had a chance to assess their writing using the rubric we created as a class. I then took the opportunity to mark their piece using the same rubric. Please take a look at the rubric and the writing together with your child and talk about what a specific goal they may have in terms of their writing. Please write their goal down in their book and send it back to school on Monday! If you have not done so already, please sign up for a Parent Teacher Interview time for next Thursday or Friday. Field Studies We are very excited for our field study on Wednesday! We now have enough volunteers for that field study! As we have so many field studies coming up forms will becoming out every week. It would greatly help me to have the forms returned as soon as possible so that I can keep on top of them! Studio Bell forms are coming home today. Please return them by Friday. Thank you to all of the parents who offered to volunteer for this trip! We have more than enough! We are still looking for volunteers for March 10th, and April 1st. In order to be able to take part in these activities we need to have at least 4 more volunteers for both dates. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to join us!
