October 15th

- Today in Science we learned about the buildings in Tunisia. (SM)
- We had explore time, and two of us built a marble run! (DR)
- We had a good day! (JL)
- In Music we had a substitute! Mrs. Hildebrand was in with us! (JH)
- In Math we talked about estimating! Ask me what we did! (QM)
- For Morning Journal we were given 5 different words and needed to write a short story that included those words! They were scarf, giraffe, telephone, candle and paint! (JH)
- We had music in the morning today! (SM) We go to play games and watch a marble video! (DR)
- In Phys. Ed we practiced passing with the basketballs, and then had some time to shoot at the hoop! (SM)

Tomorrow we will be venturing downtown to the Central Library for a presentation in the morning. After lunch the students will be going into the downtown core to look at 6 different buildings. Please make sure your student has comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and a healthy lunch and water bottle! We are looking forward to a very exciting day!

Thank you to everyone who responded to my email about volunteers! We now have enough volunteers!

Field Studies We are very excited for our field study on Wednesday! We now have enough volunteers for that field study! As we have so many field studies coming up forms will becoming out every week. It would greatly help me to have the forms returned as soon as possible so that I can keep on top of them! Studio Bell forms are coming home today. Please return them by Friday. Thank you to all of the parents who offered to volunteer for this trip! We have more than enough! We are still looking for volunteers for March 10th, and April 1st. In order to be able to take part in these activities we need to have at least 4 more volunteers for both dates. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to join us! Writing The students in room 8 are hard at work learning what verbs and adjectives are. They are using them to write more descriptive sentences that draw the reader in! June 22nd - 26th Learning Plans

Good afternoon Grade 3 Families,   This is a very sad week for us as this will be the last week where we see all of your wonderful faces on the google meet ups,  we will be reading t he last Friday letter you wrote to us and of course  watching  the  talent show to share your passions.  All the grade three teachers are sad to see the year come to an end.  On that note, we will be changing the time of the meet up this coming Friday. Instead of meeting at 1pm, we will be meeting at 9am. This will allow for siblings to watch the grade 4 celebration and be done b efore noon.
