Our day was amazing! We got to explore the Central Library this morning! Ask me about the bookscelator (that's actually it's name), and how the books that are returned get sorted! There was a photo booth at the Library that we were allowed to use! There were lots of little work rooms for people to use for different activities.

After lunch at City Hall, we ventured out into downtown! We got to see the Calgary Tower, the Bow Tower, Telus Sky, the Bay building, Old City Hall, and Olympic Plaza! It was really cool to get the opportunity to see different buildings and learn about their histories! In our groups we had the opportunity to talk about the purpose of these buildings! We were very lucky with the weather! It turned out to be a beautiful day! At the Bow Tower we found a giant head sculpture! We also got to see the CBE statutes as well! There is art everywhere downtown! We even found colourful statues of gophers at Olympic Plaza. People are going to be able to live at the top of Telus Sky!
When we got back to school we did a Venn Diagram that compared the Central Library and the Fish Creek Library!
