Bow Habitat

We had an awesome day with the trout at the Bow Habitat Fish Hatchery. The students learned a lot about the lifecycle of a trout. We were able to see the different stages for ourselves! Be sure to ask your child about the different stages of a fishes life!

We took a walk through Pierce Estate Park and had the opportunity to look for signs of animals that live in the park. There were lots of interesting things to see!

The students were so excited to feed the trout. They spent a great deal of time carefully feeding the fish and watching them fight for the food. That seems to have been a favourite activity for many of the students!
