Good afternoon Grade 3 Families, 
Can you believe we only have 2 more weeks left of school? If we were at school right now, students would be preparing for their celebration of learning. We would be finalizing the projects, practicing our lines, sharing with our buddies and getting ready to share with family and friends. It’s really too bad we won’t be able to do that this year 🙁.  
We have had very limited response to the talent show idea. In fact, only 5 students have responded that they are interested in sharing their passions. There is still time to sign up! Please fill out the form provided to show that your child is interested in showcasing a passion or talent. We will be organizing times on each of the Fridays to allow children to perform their talent live. If your child would prefer to create a short video (no more than 2 minutes) please forward that video to Mrs. Langlois at dllanglois@cbe.ab.ca. She will organize an opportunity for everyone to view it during the talent show on Friday. We are excited to see what hidden talents our students have.

Good afternoon Grade 3 Families,   This is a very sad week for us as this will be the last week where we see all of your wonderful faces on the google meet ups,  we will be reading t he last Friday letter you wrote to us and of course  watching  the  talent show to share your passions.  All the grade three teachers are sad to see the year come to an end.  On that note, we will be changing the time of the meet up this coming Friday. Instead of meeting at 1pm, we will be meeting at 9am. This will allow for siblings to watch the grade 4 celebration and be done b efore noon. Please make not e  of that in your calendar so your child does not miss out.    In closing, w e would like to share some  housekeeping  items with you to keep you informed.    Picking up items  – Mr. Laidlaw will have sent  a  time  of when and  where you can pick up the rest of your child’s learning items. June 8th - 12th Learning Plans

Good afternoon Grade 3 Families,   Can you believe it's June already? Time has flown by in many ways, but in others ,  it has come to a  standstill .  As we communicate with   our   families,  teachers  have noticed that priorities are constantly changing .  Spending time with family, being outside, and meeting up with cohort families has taken  precedent  over  school .  Some families are done with constantly pushing their children  and  dealing with the  stress  of  trying get all  school work  done.  Please know we understand and its okay to stop and breath and take a break. Really . . . it’s okay.    Knowing that some of our students are  struggling  with  their drive to complete tasks, we have modified some of the ways we will be  presenting the work.  For example, y ou will notice that Math will be more of a review choice  board,   like  the options choice board.
